The Marietta Daily Journal
is the latest newspaper to report on our two new homes in East Cobb, Georgia:

Dennis Creech, executive director of Atlanta-based environmental nonprofit Southface, praised the home. “The word ‘green’ has gotten a lot of definitions and people tend to focus on some of the catchier aspects, like something is made from a recycled product or bamboo flooring,” Creech said. “But, the foundation of green has got to be the science-based approach to saving energy, saving water, making homes healthier for people. It’s really about the people.”

Jetson Green is one of the best green blogs on the web. See what they had to say about our home in Cobb County, Georgia:

When you think of manufactured homes, you might think of the ranch house with vinyl siding that you gingerly pass on the interstate as it travels on the back of a wide-load truck. You might also think about a LEED Platinum home and imagine a roof spotted with photovoltaic panels, windmill in the front yard, and geothermal dug deep into the ground. The newest offering from New World Home turns both of these ideas on their heads. Read the entire article here.

The Mother Nature Network also approves. Green business guru Melissa Hincha-Ownby has more.
